Hi guys – welcome to my blog!
In this blog, we will be exploring the basics of Accounting – having just started a Bachelor of Business, this is a subject that I am entirely unfamiliar with so I’ll be learning alongside you all.
A little background on myself first – I am a 26 year old mature age student and this will be my 5th attempt at gaining a tertiary education. I think it’s safe to say that school and I don’t really mix so this is me putting on my big-girl pants and getting on with things. I have 2 children (I’m a single parent) aged 5 and 4 and a dachshund bitza called Dexter. We live on the beautiful Capricorn Coast of Queensland. I work part-time and am hoping to use this degree as a stepping stone in my career.
